What is WatchGuard AuthPoint?

The most common way attackers get into business systems isn't through technical exploits — it's through stolen or weak passwords. Once someone has your credentials, a username and password alone offer no resistance. Multi-factor authentication means that even if a password is stolen, it's not enough to get in.

WatchGuard AuthPoint is a cloud-based MFA platform that adds a second factor to Windows logon, VPN access, web applications and Microsoft 365. Users receive a push notification on their smartphone, approve it, and they're in. No hardware tokens, no complex setup.

AuthPoint uses a unique mobile phone DNA check — it verifies not just that someone has the authenticator app, but that they're using the specific enrolled device. Even if credentials and an authenticator app are cloned, the DNA check blocks the impostor.
